Terms of Use
MenkyoPass is made by Wuyu (wuyuXAI), an independent developer. Installing the app means you accept what is on this page. It is short because there is not much to agree to: the app runs on your phone and keeps your answers there.
What you get
A licence to use MenkyoPass on the Apple devices you own, for studying. You may not resell it, republish its questions, sign artwork, or illustrations, or build another product out of them.
Purchases
The paid unlock is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Apple handles the payment and the receipt. Restoring it on another device you own is free and is a button in the app.
Refunds go through Apple, not through me, because Apple took the payment. Apple's process is at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in the app is broken, email me first. I would rather fix it.
This is study material, not the exam
MenkyoPass is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Police Agency, any prefectural police force, any driving school, or any government body. It does not issue, verify, or administer anything.
The questions are written from published sources. They are not the actual exam paper and no app has that paper. Passing here does not mean you will pass there.
Traffic rules change, and the app can be out of date between updates. On the road and in the exam room, the current law is what counts, not what this app said. Nothing here is legal advice.
Accuracy, and what to do when it is wrong
I check every question against a published source and record which one, but I am one person and mistakes get through. If you find one, email me and I will fix it and say so in the release notes. Please do not rely on a single question against your own reading of the rules.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for failing an exam, for a decision you made using the app, or for anything that follows from either. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for the app.
Changes
If these terms change the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the app after that means accepting the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, where I am. This does not remove consumer rights you have where you live.
